Project Scope:
The scope of works consists of development of the first series of maritime projects to enhance public network of maritime transport and expanding the offer of wet and dry berths for pleasure crafts to the following locations. The works also includes but limited to Project Management, Engineering, Procurement of all goods, Construction including Testing and commissioning, maintenance up to the date of issuance of taking over certificate.
Rabdan Marina
- Widening of an existing slipway;
- New edge protection;
- New floating pontoon system including gangway, bankseat, provisions for utility connections, pontoons, mooring and anchorage systems;
- Refurbishment of existing waiting pontoon;
- Dredging and disposal of removed material;
- New quay wall including two (2) new ro-ro ramps and associated breasting dolphins with pedestrian access from the landside;
- New edge protection;
- Dredging and disposal of removed material;
- Reclamation;
- Demolishing and disposal of existing slipway / ramp;
- Demolish of section of existing revetment as required to construct new quay wall; and
- Temporary relocation of the existing ferry operation
- New quay wall including two (2) new ro-ro ramps and associated breasting dolphins with pedestrian access from the landside
- Two (2) new floating pontoon systems including gangways, bankseats, provisions for utility connections, pontoons and mooring and anchorage systems
