New railway access platform for the High Speed Railway of Levante

CHARACTERISTICS:
The works consist of the execution of the UIC double-track railway platform for the access to Alicante for a speed of 250 km/h over a length of 9,999.883 m and, in addition, a provisional diversion of the Madrid-Alicante conventional line of 2,226.173 m. The following elementary works are included:

- Viaduct of 99 m over the road from Pla de Vallonga to cement plant
- Serreta Larga tunnel, of 333 m
- Viaduct over the A-7 and the Rambla de las Ovejas, of 389.22 m
- Pergola bridge over the diverted railway track Alicante-Villena, 86.42 m
- Freight track cross structure composed of a set of attached pergola bridges
- Tunnelling between slurry walls, in a length of 297.88 m
- 4 overpasses and 5 underpasses
