Plasser & Theurer DGS-62N Dynamic Stabilizer

The use of this dynamic track stabilizer has been shown to lengthen track conservation intervals by 30%, significantly reducing operating and maintenance costs. Its use increases operating safety, shortens deadlines to reach the maximum speeds allowed on the line, and increases the durability of the geometry of the designed track.

The dynamic stabilization achieves a better compaction of the sleepers, increasing the lateral resistance of the track. It consists of applying a horizontal vibration next to a static vertical load on the track, spatially rearranging the elements that make up the ballast.

This machine can work in both conventional and international width.
